THE JOB

ShowSlinger is a web and mobile app that connect venues, fans, and artists. Our mission is to eliminate the headaches that traditional booking agents, venues (like bars, clubs, restaurants, hotels, etc.), and artists endure day after day in the live entertainment performance world. Our tools greatly streamline the booking and promotion process.

 

The job of the Sales Representative is to close hot leads that we supply as well book the right entertainment for the clients. You will work remotely and make closing calls 80% of the time and spend 20% of the time booking artists.

 

You will be part of a team that will assist in finding the appropriate artists and help book them for the clients. This frees you up to simply close business and maximize your income. This is a sales position where you get to build your own clientele and provide consulting/advisory services to your clients.  We give you the training and the tools to essentially earn as much income as you want!


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Closing hot sales leads that are supplied by our team.

  • Advising your clients about which types of live entertainment are appropriate for them.

  • Using ShowSlinger software to book live entertainment for the clients.

  • Assisting in collecting monthly entertainment payments from your clients.

  • Working with your team and management on a daily basis.

  • Keeping accurate call logs and simple daily reports for management.

COMPENSATION

Base salary plus commission. First year earnings: $40,000-$60,000. Quarterly bonuses are given to top performers as well.

You will cold call and close the first 3 clients on your own and be paid a commission of $250 per venue. This should only take a week or two. After that, you will receive a competitive monthly base salary plus commission as well as all the hot leads, which are easy to close.

 

The reason the job is structured this way is that we are looking for winners that believe in themselves, the company and our service. Closing the first few venues on your own will allow us to see who really wants the job and those that  simply want a quick paycheck.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Persistence and ability to follow up rigorously with clients until you close them

  • Excellent verbal and writing skills required

  • 4 year bachelor degree a plus but not required

  • Ability to work well independently

  • Self-motivated and highly ambitious

  • Extremely well organized

  • Positive attitude and energetic, outgoing personality

  • Must have fast internet connection, Apple or Android smart phone and your own computer
